LIVERPOOL GUIDE
Liverpool has history, beauty and culture paired with delicious food and drink. Made up of distinct neighbourhoods, Liverpool is a fabulous city which we’d love for you to experience for yourself
WatERFRONT
Liverpool’s waterfront and docks are a huge part of what makes it so great! Liverpool was home to both the Cunard and White Star Line, and was the port of registry of the RMS Titanic, the RMS Lusitania, the Queen Mary and the Olympic ocean liners. These days you might still see a cruise ship floating on the River Mersey as the Liverpool Cruise Terminal opened in 2007. The heart of the waterfront is the Royal Albert Dock. It contains the UK’s largest collection of Grade I listed buildings as well as being the most visited multi-use attraction outside London as it is home to many restaurants, bars, shops and museums.
